Hey everyone! In this short video, I’ll walk you through how to submit any video, audio, or image files that are apart of your writing assignment, using either YouTube or Google Drive. By uploading these files to either service, it becomes possible to simply copy the link to this file into your word document, and then upload that word file the usual way.

Option 1 – Upload to YouTube Go to YouTube.com

• Click the camera icon (top right), then click Upload Video

• Choose your file and follow the upload steps

• Set the visibility to Unlisted (so only people with the link can see it)

• Once the upload is Complete, Copy the link to your existing Microsoft word submission file

Option 2 – Upload to Google Drive

• Go to drive.google.com

• Click New, then File upload or Folder upload

• Right-click the uploaded file, then Share

• Change sharing settings to ‘Anyone with the link’ can view

• Copy the share link into your existing Homework Assignment Document. Submitting on Canvas

• Go to the assignment page in Canvas

• Scroll to the submission box

• Upload the Microsoft Word File containing all the material that is pertinent to that writing assignment, ensuring the two or more aforementioned links are featured prominently within the same file. • Click Submit Assignment
